Over the week of studying nuclear engineering I have learned a lot about it. I have learned the hours, the salary, what they do, where they work, their contributions to the world. and what you need to be in that job. A Petroleum Engineer has a work hour of 40 hours a week or a 5.5 hours a day. But within those hours they get paid an average of 138,000 dollars a year! In their job they make new inventions to be more efficient with extracting oil from wells and they also maintain the inventions they make. To be in this career you to have a bachelor's and major in chemistry. The last thing is where they work. they work in places offshore cause that is where most of the oil is cause all on land oil is dried up. Although petroleum engineering isn't healthy for the environment they are the reason why are cars go which makes our lives better.
